Most of the hospitals have their own nursing and medical colleges. The hospitals used to be places of social service but not any more with the entry of new private hospitals and hi tech equipments. The private hospitals have made the hospitals as a commercial business entity and to add more to this each of the leading private hospitals will be having their own colleges. The bachelors nursing in these hospitals will be the students of the hospital's college and compulsorily each nursing student has to practice in the college and the hospitals use these nurses as a cost cutting measure and earn a lot of money from the patients and do not give salaries to the nurses and doctors working in the hospital as most of them are students and there will be some individual consultants coming and going to the hospital.

The students will get training in these hospital and the bachelors nursing are also given employment in the same hospital after graduation based on their performance in the hospital and this offer letter will come with a bond for five years and the salary also will be minimum. The nurses practicing in the hospitals will not have much experience in the nursing field and will not treat the patients kindly and will be just doing their duty in the hospital. There will be both day and night shifts for the bachelors nursing and they will be working in the hospital without interest and will be chatting most of the times. The reputation of the hospital will come down as a result of service related problems and there are examples of a lot of hospitals which had earned a good name among the public but was unable to maintain their reputation due to poor customer service of the bachelors nursing.

There are hospitals of various ranges in expenses and people used to select hospitals accordingly but most often the doctors are primarily responsible for the selection of hospitals and according to their advice patients get admitted in the hospitals. The bachelors nursing will be performing the entire tasks of a nurse and there will be a staff nurse in the hospital who will control all these bachelors nursing students working or getting training in the hospital. The staff nurse will be the trainer and will clarify all the doubts that arise for the students while practicing in the hospital.
